Why worry?
I went for a bike ride the other day around the lake. I enjoy listening to my Christian
Music and enjoy God's glory and Splendor.
When I first arrived to this area of the lake I was mesmerized by the sights and sounds of so many birds. From a distance they looked like boulders in the water.
All of the sudden the birds decided to take flight. There had to be thousands of them.
If God takes care of them why in the world would I worry about my needs.
Read: Matthew 6: 25- 34 NIV
Do not worry!
Matthew 6: 25-27,34 NIV
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about you life, what you will eat or drink; or about you body, what will you wear. Is not life more that clothes
26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable them they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life.? Therefore do now worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Instead of worrying we need to cast our cares on Jesus because he cares for us. (I Peter 5:7)
Our worry is canceled our by our Faith and Trust in God. If our faith is in God it will displace the worry in our lives. When Christ becomes the center of our lies we can settle down and sense God's presence and just Be Still and Rest in Him.
